An active attorney for over 32 years, Greg Bennett is the lead attorney for Sapere Law’s Estate Planning department. In addition to estate planning, Greg represents private businesses in their formation, administration, and transactions.
Throughout his legal career, Greg has also successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business, corporate, real estate, commercial, unlawful detainer, and family law matters. Having held a real estate brokerage license with extensive experience in real estate law, Greg possesses keen knowledge of real estate issues and how to solve them.
In his downtime, Greg enjoys longboard surfing, traveling, and is a classic car enthusiast.

Experience
1990 through 1997, Civil Litigation Associate and Litigation Department Managing Attorney at a national law firm, representing primarily mortgage lenders and servicers.
1998 through 2010, Founding Partner at Bennett & Bennett, APC. Business and real estate practice with an emphasis on business and non-profit start-ups, corporate governance and transactions, and business and real estate litigation.
2010 through 2023: Founding Partner at Bennett Law Corporation. Estate planning, business and real estate practice. Family law litigation practice limited to select family law cases addressing significant business and real estate holdings, high income earners, professional practices, domestic violence, custody, support, guardianships, modification of orders, and appeals.
2023 – present: Founding Partner at Sapere Law, APC (formerly Bennett Law Corporation). Managing Partner of the Sapere Law Estate Planning Department; corporate and LLC formation, complex business transactions.
Publications
Mr. Bennett has been widely published, with articles such as “Asset Protection for Business Owners,” “How to Get Sued and Hit With a Big Judgment (without really trying),” “Trade Secret Misappropriation,” “Protecting Your Trade Secrets,” and “Protecting Your Customer Lists,” which have been published in numerous periodicals and websites, including the Valley Business Journal.
Teaching
Mr. Bennett frequently lectures and presents programs on business and the law to the Murrieta and Temecula Chambers of Commerce, the City of Murrieta, and various other business organizations and professional associations. Mr. Bennett has taught Professional Responsibility and Ethics at Trinity University School of Law in Orange County, California.
