An active attorney for over 32 years, Greg Bennett is the lead attorney for Sapere Law’s Estate Planning department. In addition to estate planning, Greg represents private businesses in their formation, administration and transactions. Throughout his legal career, Greg has also successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business, corporate, real estate, commercial, unlawful detainer and family law matters. Having held a real estate brokerage license with extensive experience in real estate law, Greg possesses keen knowledge of real estate issues and how to solve them. In his downtime, Greg enjoys longboard surfing, traveling and is a classic car enthusiast.
Hon. Kelly A. Bennett, Esq. (Mayor Emeritus)
An active trial attorney and mediator for over 32 years, guiding people through adversity has been at the core of Kelly Bennett’s career. Since 1990, Kelly has worked as a trial and business lawyer. She’s a Founding Partner and the Managing Attorney of Sapere Law in Temecula, California. Ms. Bennett is well known for her work in family law – negotiating, mediating and litigating for people who’ve had some really horrible (sometimes unthinkable) things happen; betrayals by those they trusted most. Kelly has represented business owners and organizational leaders in the midst of serious and complicated problems (sometimes quite personal) where the viability of their life’s work was at risk. In 2006, Kelly was the first woman to be elected to the Murrieta City Council where she served as Mayor, and a regional government leader, creating systems and processes for productivity and solving large-scale problems.
Kelly hosts the On Fire Empire podcast, providing legal information and lifestyle help for people going through legal and personal challenges. Ms. Bennett is the author of Victim Is Not Your Name: Remembering Your True Identity in the Midst of Life Challenges. Kelly is an avid vegan, fitness and surfing enthusiast. She enjoys down time in the ocean with her husband Greg, and “doing life” with their two daughters, Rachael and Chloe.
Rachael B. Bennett, Esq. Partner, Certified Family Law Specialist
Rachael is a Partner and leads Sapere Law’s family law department. Rachael is uniquely skilled at navigating complex family law issues and providing her clients with the clarity they need to move forward with confidence. She has proudly represented clients in cases ranging from high-asset dissolutions, business valuations, multi-week trials, domestic violence restraining orders, and high-conflict child custody disputes. Rachael has earned a solid reputation for being personable, professional, and collaborative, as evidenced by her notable track record of successfully settling over 90% of her contested cases. Plus, she writes a killer “pre-nup”. Rachael is Certified by the State Bar of California as a Family Law Specialist, a distinction held by only a limited number of attorneys who have passed additional, rigorous testing and earned personal endorsements from local judges. In her spare time, Rachael is a gardening enthusiast and collector of antique English roses. She spends her weekends chasing her golden retrievers around the dog beach and relaxing with her family.
